Announcement for Moavineen-e-Hujjaj / Nazims Applications for Hajj 2025

The Government of Pakistan, through the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony (M/o RA&IH), invites applications from government officers/officials (BPS-07 to BPS-18) to perform welfare duties as Moavineen-e-Hujjaj / Nazims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) during Hajj 2025. This selection process will be conducted via the National Testing Service – Pakistan (NTS), ensuring a fair and merit-based recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

General Requirements

1. Must be a regular government employee in BPS-07 to BPS-18, drawing salary through AGPR, Provincial AG offices, or Field Accounts Offices under the Controller General of Accounts (CGA). Employees of AJK & GB mentioned in their respective Rules of Business are also eligible.
2. Fresh candidates must be between 25 to 50 years old as of April 30, 2025. Candidates born before May 1, 1975, and after April 30, 2000, are not eligible.
3. Repeater candidates (those who have performed Hajj duties before) must be between 25 to 55 years old as of April 30, 2025. Those born before May 1, 1970, and after April 30, 2000, are not eligible.
4. Repeaters who have performed up to two Hajj duties are eligible, while those with more than two previous duties are disqualified (as per Islamabad High Court orders dated April 27, 2024).

Position-Specific Requirements

1. Moavineen-e-Hujjaj / Nazims (Supervisory Staff)
   • Quota distribution:
     • Punjab: 49%
     • Sindh Urban: 7.60%
     • Sindh Rural: 11.40%
     • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 14.50%
     • Balochistan: 6%
     • Ex-FATA: 3%
     • AJK: 2%
     • GB: 1%
   • Male and female candidates (BPS 17-18) can apply.
2. Field/Supporting Staff
   • Minimum educational qualification: Matric.
   • Male and female candidates (BPS 07-16) can apply.

Selection Process

1. Written Test: Conducted by NTS, based on the provided syllabus on the NTS website.
2. Physical/Endurance Test: Includes a 5-km jogging/brisk walk within a specified time.
3. Medical Fitness: A medical certificate from the concerned DHQ is mandatory. Candidates with chronic or mental illnesses, disabilities, or heart conditions are not eligible.
4. Document Verification: Original documents will be checked during the selection process.

Important Guidelines

• Departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) must be submitted on time.
• Incomplete applications or handwritten forms will not be entertained.
• Repeaters can constitute up to 70% of the total selected candidates.
• The ministry reserves the right to alter quotas, cancel the process, or withhold results without prior notice.
